The National Philharmonic presents an evening of Mozart. Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony is widely regarded as representing the height of the Classical style. Polished and elegant, it is also exciting and brilliant with a celebratory fugue in the final movement. Andreas Makris’ Viola Concerto is a perfect foil for internationally renowned violist Miles Hoffman, the witty music commentator on NPR’s Morning Edition.
