Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center will hold a fundraiser concert with Mayer Kirby Mayer Acoustic Group on Sunday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. at an exciting new venue in Manassas—Uptown Alley (8300 Sudley Road, Manassas.) The Mayer Kirby Mayer Acoustic Group is comprised of Peter Mayer who is longtime lead guitarist and songwriting collaborator in Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band. He melds influences from jazz, rock and pop and has released a dozen of his own albums. Peter has shared the stage with everyone from Chicago to Joni Mitchell. Brendan Meyer brings his vocal talents to the band.

Come here the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra perform their very first piece of music that started it all back in 1916 with a special performance of Beethoven's Eigth Symphony in the Meyerhoff lobby.

The festival consists the best of Baltimore live music and performances and a Resource Fair for community members that will include a back-to-school backpack and grocery giveaway. Over 40 resource booths from local organizations including University of Maryland Extension, Whole Foods Mount Washington, and Whitelock Community Farm. There will be free blood pressure screenings, HIV/AIDS testing, offering employment information, and continuing education booths.
