(Englewood Cliffs, NJ May 16, 2011) Lower East Side native and openly gay pop artist Sir Ari Gold is a buzz worthy, subculture celebrity in his own right, quickly winning over critics far beyond the reach of the LGBT community. In a “TrueBlood meets Mad Men fantasy dreamscape” Ari’s music video for his single “Make My Body Rock” captivates attention with bold imagery and a dirty beat with just enough grit to satisfy even the pickiest of ears.

We are serving up amazing Entertainment, Media, NY Nightlife, Celebrities, Trendsetters, and more mixed together in one intimate setting AGAIN. This month we are featuring Sony BMG’s rising new group 2AM Club, Top 20 American Idol contestant Jerome Bell, Erin Christine and new artists Anna Ayers and Rich P.  Surprise Guests are in store… Additional surprise appearances are also signed, sealed and delivered to those in the building only!

The First and Franklin Sanctuary Choir, soloists and small ensembles under the direction of Jason Kissel will present a program entitled How Can I Keep from Singing? The choir will offer some of the most beautiful music heard during morning services throughout the church year, including F. Melius Christiansen's setting of Beautiful Savior as sung from the surrounding balconies; Eric Nelson's powerful arrangement of It is Well With My Soul accompanied by piano, and portions of Mozart's Mass in C minor.

Through explosive dancing, personal stories, humor and a company of performers whose ages span six decades, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange stretches the expressive range of contemporary dance. Immerse yourself in an interactive performance about the very essence of who we are as Jews and as a Jewish community. This multimedia experience, melding dance, ideas and beauty, will enrich your Jewish mind, body and soul.

The community is invited to join Beth Am Synagogue to welcome Shabbat in music and song with Rabbi Daniel Cotzin Burg and Cantor Ira Greenstein. Bring dairy or fish dinners. A special program is scheduled at 6:40 pm for families with children 9 and under. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required.
