Buddy Holly and the Crickets never made a Christmas album. But we started thinking – what would it have been like if Buddy had recorded holiday tunes? Hence, OH BOY! It’s Christmas. The show isn’t ALL yuletide fare, about half is our favorite OH BOY! rockabilly/tex-mex classics with the other half being holiday fare done in a way that’ll make you say OH BOY!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost two years since D.C. Music Download officially launched. To celebrate this milestone with all of our amazing readers and supporters who’ve helped us along the way, we’ve decided to go big for this anniversary party. DJ Ryan Ulbrich, The Sea Life, The Raised by Wolves, Young Rapids and Drop Electric will take the stage to benefit Girls Rock! DC, an organization that helps girls establish confidence through music.
