Maryland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Association will present its second annual fundraising gala to benefit children in foster care.

Chaired by Angela Lunczynski-Hamilton (board vice president for Maryland CASA and procurement manager for Coca Cola, Refreshments Inc.), the resort-style event will feature dinner, dancing and spectacular views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Fête de la Musique, which was launched in France in 1982, is a global festival promoting live music, both amateur and professional practices. Chez Colette, one of Sofitel Philadelphia’s sophisticated and chic dining experiences is set to hold their own interpretation of the global music party on June 21 at 7:00 pm.

Maryland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Association will present this official kickoff celebration for Team CASA, which will participate in the Under Armour® Baltimore Running Festival to support Maryland’s victims of child abuse and neglect.

The Philadelphia Orchestra returns for a 6th season to present another FREE Neighborhood Concert on the RiverStage at the Great Plaza, presented by Wells Fargo. The concert will be followed by a land-side fireworks display.

Next Up Sessions are new live music experiences that allow fans of new music to interact with emerging local artists like never before.  At a Next Up Session, 5 artists play 3 songs each, after which the audience decides which act is crowned as the winner, winning a day in a recording studio to professionally lay down their tracks. As a member of the audience, you’ll also get to ask the artist questions, provide feedback on their performance, and mingle with the artists after they have finished performing.
