Speaking a little Irish: Lessons and Fun

The old tongue will be introduced by linguist Sean Lenahan, with emphasis on its practical use within today’s Irish community. A history of the language and its recent resurgence will be presented in a verbal session, and activities such as a shared lunch and a bit of a dance lesson will be used to help our visitors speak a little Irish at the end of a fun day.
