Aaron Bisman is co-founder and President of JDub Records, a not-for-profit dedicated to innovative Jewish music, community and cross-cultural dialogue. A DJ and graduate of NYU’s Music Business program, Aaron was a recipient of the Joshua Venture Fellowship, a two-year fellowship for Jewish social entrepreneurs. Aaron discovered and signed Hasidic Reggae singer Matisyahu and managed him through the spring of 2006. JDub has produced events across the country and reached millions of people through its CDs, artist tours and media exposure. JDub’s current artists include Balkan Beat Box, Golem, Soulico, Michael Showalter, Deleon and SoCalled.
*IMPACT, a program of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, seeks to inspire, educate and involve Jewish young adults ages 22-45 through volunteer activities, leadership training and social programs. IMPACT offers a tangible way to make a world of difference in our Jewish community and the world around us.
