www.poetryinbaltimore.com and Hamilton Gallery are brewing up some spooky Halloween fun! So dust off your Evil Lynn or Cobra Commander costume and head to the Hamilton gallery for a night of Monster Music, Petrifying Poetry and Masquerade Mayhem! This is a benefit party for the Hamilton gallery, so you can enjoy the festivities with a warm, charitable (dare I say “smugly charitable?”) glow!
Rock the casket of love with music by those groovy ghouls “The Bobwhites!” Howl at a “Blue Moon Over Balti-gore” with poltergeist poets Alex “Angel of Destruction” Alexander, Chris “Call Me Batworth” Ciattei, Jenny “I Was a Teenage Biker Vampire” Keith, and M. S. “Sympathy for the Devil” Sanders!
Plus there are prizes for best costume! (if you usually look like a zombie anyway, we won’t tell) And the whole Monster Mash is hosted by none other than Baltimore’s own “King and Queen of the Darned” Julie “Lick My Fangs” Fisher and Lawrence "The Friendly Werewolf" Leaf!
This “Eek-vent” is 5 bones in advance or 7 at the door. For more info, drag yourself from the crypt and call 443-418-4762, email julie@poetryinbaltimore.com or click on www.hamiltongalleryart.blogspot.com
It all takes place at the Hamilton Gallery Castle on 5502 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214 (just take a left at the “Swamp of Doom.”)
