Beginner Salsa Lesson and 1/2 Off Margaritas

Looking for something a little different on a Thursday night rather than just going to the same old bars to hang out?

Baltimore Salsa Dance Company partnered up with a fantastic restaurant in town - Miguel's Cocina y Cantina, to bring you a fun night filled with Salsa Dancing and 1/2 off Margaritas prior to the dancing in an exciting and friendly atmosphere. After a very successful first Third Thursday last month, we are looking forward to another great night.

Have you been wanting to take a Salsa lesson for the longest time but are afraid to commit to a whole session at our studio? Well here is your chance to get a taste while exploring a fabulous restaurant at the same time. Even if you don't need or want a lesson and just want to come out with your friends, get a couple of half-priced margaritas and just relax and unwind from a long week, this night is still for you.
Maybe you even have been taking classes with us and want to practice what you've learned some more.

Come early and relax with a 1/2 off Margarita, or maybe two of them. Then put your dancing shoes on and let us show you how it's done in our beginner salsa class. You'll be hooked, we promise.

1/2 Off Margaritas at the bar from 4pm-8pm
Beginner Salsa Lesson 8:15pm-9:15pm
Open Dancing afterward until the bar closes (or the last dancer clears the floor)
Cost for lesson: $10

Miguel's is located on the bottom floor of Silo Point in Locust Point, facing away from the street. There is plenty of street parking on adjacent streets or perhaps in the parking garage at Silo Point. Signs to guide you to Miguel's are on either entry point to silo point (off of Clement Street or the corner of Andre and Beason St).

For the more seasoned Salsa dancer we just want to make you aware that the dance floor isn't wood as of now but danceable (just maybe not in your really good salsa shoes). A portable dance floor is in the foreseeable future.
