The community is invited to join Beth Am Synagogue to welcome Shabbat in music and song with Rabbi Daniel Cotzin Burg and Cantor Ira Greenstein. Bring dairy or fish dinners. A special program is scheduled at 6:40 pm for families with children 9 and under. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required. Rabbi Burg is beginning his second year as Beth Am’s rabbi. He is active in the Baltimore downtown community and regularly shares his thoughts and impressions on the blog www.theurbanrabbi.com .
