Laser Rock

Shooting stars make way for rock stars this July and August only as the Maryland Science Center’s Davis Planetarium presents the classic laser rock shows that have been wowing audiences for generations.

Bass will boom and lights will zoom ‘cross the room as choreographed visuals take amazing albums and spectacular singles to new heights of “star-dome.” 3D images interpreting the lyrics and emotion of the songs will dance in trillions of colors in a multimedia experience that will blow visitors’ minds.

Laser shows at the Davis Planetarium include:

Beatles
Led Zeppelin
Metallica
Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd’s The Wall
Pop (multiple artists)
U2
Vinyl (multiple artists)

Schedule and Pricing:

Beatles and Pop
Daily at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Admission is included in Maryland Science Center general admission.

Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Pink Floyd, U2, and Vinyl
Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on a rotating schedule. Admission is $8.00 for one show or $12.00 for both of the evening’s shows.

Floyd fanatics can catch Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall back to back on the evenings of July 16 and August 20.
