Science on Tap: Beer-ology 101

The latest installment in the Maryland Science Center’s Science on Tap series is coming up on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Join Jim Wagner, brewmaster at DuClaw Brewing Company, for a night of touching, smelling, and tasting beer at Science on Tap: Beer-ology 101. Sample a variety of DuClaw beers while exploring how to identify different smells and discovering how they combine to create different flavors. Participants will handle hops, barley, and other ingredients to investigate the roles they play in the brewing process.
