FIRST ANNUAL “DONATE LIFE GOSPELFEST”

Donate Life Maryland and The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland proudly present “A Celebration of Life Through Donation.” The First Annual Donate Life Gospel Fest will honor of the legacy and generosity of donors from our Baltimore neighborhoods. Held on Saturday, November 12, 2011, this event is FREE to the public. Doors open at 4 p.m., with open seating. Performances will begin promptly at 5 p.m.

MC Ernestine Young from Morgan State Radio (WEAA 88.9FM) will open the festival with a joyous welcome and will share the importance of registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor. Manuel Ringgold, DJ Fella and Anointed Voices, Sheldon Brown, The St. John AME Unity Choir and the New Psalmist Baptist Church Choir will lift their voices and rejoice in the lives saved and healed through the precious gifts of organ, eye and tissue donors; those who have participated in this act of neighborly love and charity.
