Burlesque to the Core

Burlesque is an art form that combines dance, props, performance, character work, mime, storytelling, comedy and, yes, stripping.  Over a six week session that starts Monday, July 30 and ends Monday, September 3, students will learn burlesque skills and choreography, while also developing strength, improving flexibility and gaining endurance.  Students will learn to take it off and show it off. 

CCMA’s studio is a safe space for all genders, ages 18+.   Burlesque to the Core is appropriate for both first-timers and experienced performers.  CCMA is located at 600 S Clinton Street, Baltimore, MD 21224.   Registration is now open at www.charmcitymovement.com or by calling (410) 449-2262.  

Instructor Paco Fish holds the titles "King of Southern Exposure 2011," "King of Carolina Sweet Tease 2012" and "Most Humorous" from both 2012 Great Burlesque Expo and 2012 Carolina Burlesque Festival.  Fish has studied under world-class burlesque, clown and mime instructors.
