Unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions living with Alzheimer’s. Hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland Chapter, this family-friendly event provides an opportunity for the community to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy opportunities and clinical trial enrollment, to support programs and services.
Everyone can enjoy trick-or-treating and other Halloween activities, plus live performances by The Norwood Project throughout the morning. Registration begins at 9 a.m., when participants can drop off donations, pick up t-shirts from the tent sponsored by Maples of Towson, take team photos, and decorate posters and Promise Garden flowers.
Following a ceremony focusing on the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and honoring, those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, the 2.5-mile walk will commence at 10 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to stay after for additional entertainment and activities, including the Kids’ Corner, and refreshments provided by Baltimore Coffee & Tea, Giant Food and Panera.
Participants can register as individuals or teams. Those who raise at least $100 will receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt.
