“Death at the Disco,” an interactive murder mystery disco extravaganza invites you to boogie down and figure out whodunit on Saturday, March 13, 2010

Escape for a night of musical entertainment, delicious food and even better company, when you attend the Baltimore Green Works - 2nd Annual Ecoball on March 19th. Funk and dance band, The Mooks, will fill the halls of the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park and Museum as we celebrate the vernal equinox, once again! Tear away from the dance floor for some local, creative dishes. We are lucky enough to have the Baltimore International College students back for round two as they compete in the Ecoball’s “Top Chef-style” competition!

Dumabrton House: Diversion and Dancing for Adults

Your hearty enthusiasm will be welcomed at a new three-class series at Dumbarton House - all planned to prepare you for our "First Day of Spring Ball!" Featured dances will be English Country, Waltz, and Cotillion.

Buckwheat Zydeco at The Barns of Wolf Trap: Bandleader Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural first learned the accordion from zydeco legend Clifton Chenier while on tour as his organist. The band released Lay Your Burden Down in May 2009. With five original tracks—plus brilliant re-imagined covers of Bruce Springsteen, Memphis Minnie, and Jimmy Cliff.
