The Alzheimer’s Association hosts its annual Memory Ball “Dancing Stars,” formerly the Forget-Me-Not Gala, to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. Frederick County’s premier event will feature cocktails, dinner, and music from local band, The Rock & Roll Relics.

The event highlight is the “Dancing Stars” competition among individuals and couples chosen for their leadership in the community and their support of the Alzheimer’s Association. Many of them have personal connections to Alzheimer’s disease.

This premier Baltimore event features the passion and talents of local “Dancing Stars” in an evening of cocktails, dinner, and music by local band, Highway Star.

The event highlight is a dance competition – among individuals and couples chosen for their leadership in the community and their support of the Alzheimer’s Association – to win the Judge’s Choice Trophy for best dance and You’re Our Star Trophy based on “votes” tied to donations ($1 per vote).

Come join us, dance and support the cause to raise money for Liberia during their Ebola crisis..

Thousands have fallen ill in West Africa and many have died due to this virus spreading in mainly rural areas. All proceeds will be used to send sanitation and disinfection materials to a Ebola treatment center in Monrovia, Liberia.

This 2 hour Zumbathon Event will be held from 4-6 p.m. on November 15th, 2014 in the CCBC Dundalk campus' Athletic Center...T-shirts will be sold and light refreshments will be served...

Merge Dance Studio, "Where Dance and Fitness Merge”, in Manayunk is holding an open house on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 from 4:00-6:00pm for potential new students to come in to see their space, get fitted for and order dancewear, learn more about their classes, and to register for their second session, which begins Dec. 1, 2014. Classes are running now and may also be joined before the second session begins. You may also register for classes by mailing in or bringing in your registration form and tuition to Merge Dance Studio.

Join The Women's Challenge, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, for it's 4th Annual Jazz Summer Series Finale. There is not a better way to end a long Tueday than dancing in the street. Well not exactly, on Pratt & Light Street, you will be able to let loose and get in the groove of things. This free class will be taight by the experts at Mobtown Ballroom.
