Organized each year in celebration of the depth and scope of Black culture, the African American Heritage Festival showcases the history, spirit and strength of Baltimore's African American community and leadership.

Kathy Watson is musically diverse in her career as a singer and songwriter of pop, classical, theater, gospel, and jazz music. She has studied music for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in operatic performance which has given her the background to step into song writing and the sound technical basis to sing in any style. Kathy’s song writing and interpretive style are heavily influenced by multiple genres of music.

Jazz vocalist Sara Jones has been singing professionally since 2001 and is praised by critics for her trademark 'lush vocals,' and her 'velvet embrace' of the music. The first place winner of the 2004 Billie Holiday Vocal Competition, Sara has toured nearly all 50 states and performed in numerous concert halls across the country.
