BALTIMORE COMPOSERS FORUM PRESENTS: PICTURES ON SILENCE AN DIE MUSIK IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH, 2009 AT 8:00 P.M. The Baltimore Composers Forum presents Pictures on Silence, featuring harpist Jacqueline Pollauf and saxophonist Noah Getz. The program features brand-new works composed specifically for this exciting and innovative ensemble. Composers include John Belkot, Ljiljana Jovanović, Nick Nelson, George Spicka, Ariyo Shahry, and Keith Kramer.

The Marianne Matheny-Katz Trio includes the renowned Richard Johnson on piano, the talented Eric Wheeler on bass, and Marianne will perform the vocals. The Crossroads Lounge at the Radisson Hotel in the Village of Cross Keys offers the intimate setting that makes jazz so enjoyable. Guests can enjoy the light jazz music while taking advantage of the fully stocked bar, bar menu, and dining room if a full meal is in order. The free performance is from 6-9 p.m.

Baltimore Live Jazz: Jeff Reed, Acoustic Bass-Jeff Reed is an acoustic bassist, composer, and educator who primarily performs and records as a sideman for various groups in the Baltimore – Washington D.C. area. He will be performing live as part of the weekly jazz series at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys. As an acoustic bass artist, Jeff has played in almost every major Baltimore and D.C. jazz venue.

Jazz guitarist, Michael Raitzyk and bass player Jeff Reed along with jazz singer/songwriter Karla Chisholm will perform live at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys. The Michael Raitzyk Duo are well known to the Baltimore jazz community and Chisholm has worked with them on her own CDs of warm, smoky tunes. The Thursday night music performance is free and open to the public and is from 6-9 p.m. Free covered parking at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys is an ideal feature of this music location and the bar has a drink to satisfy any craving.

Baltimore Live Jazz: Marissa Muro and Todd Simon -This Thursday, jazz singer Marissa Muro will perform live at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys with piano accompaniment by Todd Simon. Muro's repertoire includes cabaret tunes and jazz standards and is considered sophisticated, sultry, and alluring. The Thursday night music performance is free and open to the public and is from 6-9 p.m. Free covered parking at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys is an ideal feature of this music location and the bar has a drink to satisfy any craving.
